Rahma Yusuf is 28 years old young woman who holds a bachelor’s degree from Burao University in Somalia in Community Development. After her graduation she won an internship at Heritage Institute for Policy Studies in 2022. Moreover, she always combined her work experience with her studies, so she volunteered during her university days in many projects such as girls’ education and child protection project for Candlelight in 2019. Consequently, after that she worked part time as a Field Monitor for the Human Right Center in 2020 and HR assistant in Ainabo local government in 2021. And lastly, she worked as a Social worker in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Center in 2023 which was the last of her work before she won the Mandela Rhodes Scholarship.
